Peculiar
The European has a peculiar trait where he smells things he finds interesting, the absurdity of it. It almost seems as if he derives pleasure from smelling things up close. The eyes are widened to suggest this is something he does seriously, and an expression of contempt; he is satisfied.
Walking Through
As they hurriedly walk across the snow-filled land, it might seem they’re trying to retreat. That might be the case, or it could be that they have somewhere to be. Then again, it might not have mattered what their goal was; all they knew was they needed to travel through the freezing weather.
Without a Care
Oh, they danced and danced, 3 operas and 2 orchestras. What is the importance of it all? Maybe that’s the point. They’re wasting their time away because they don’t want to face the truth, the end of their reign, of their fun time. Happily, they danced, without a care.
Into 300 years of History
Every door is a different destination, in a different era, with distinct people, yet it is all encapsulated in one place, frozen in time. Is that what remains of the monarchy? To be a story you tell in a museum?
Fragile Bliss

A man working on his coffin. He seems all but sure that he’s going to die. There’s a theory about this movie, where everyone’s dead and trapped in this ark. In that perspective, this man is a ghost, making a bed for him to rest finally.
