Working on the «Harvest» T-shirt, I aimed to merge the aesthetics of fashion photography with unusual natural elements. The core concept was combining the feminine figure with fruits and accessories to create original visual compositions. For this project, a standard white T-shirt transformed into a canvas for an original photo collage that captivates the viewer through its details. The print consists of two photographs placed side-by-side on the front of the garment. Through these images, I sought to convey the connection between beauty, nature, and everyday objects.

Harvest Model Blueprint

Production Stages

1. Design Development

An original design for a T-shirt was developed using photography for the Harvest project, incorporating decorative elements of fruit and accessories. Two photographs are placed on the front of the garment. The design is executed as a photo collage, emphasizing natural tones and image details.

2. Pattern Preparation and Cutting

The patterns for an L-sized t-shirt, designed with a relaxed silhouette, are prepared. The main components include the front piece, the back piece, two sleeves, and a neck trim element. A dense, white, 100% cotton knit fabric weighing 260 g/m² is used for construction. The material is then cut according to the finished patterns, accounting for the necessary seam allowances.

3. T-Shirt Assembly and Finishing

After cutting, the individual pieces are assembled into the finished garment. The shoulder and side sections are processed, the sleeves are attached, and the neckline is finished using a white ribbon. Double stitching is applied to the bottom edge and sleeves for a neat finish, which also increases the durability of the seams.

4. Image Transfer to Fabric

The prepared photo collage is adapted to the print format and the specified placement on the garment. Then, the image is applied to the finished t-shirt using the DTF method with a heat press. This technique is suitable for full-color images, allowing for the precise reproduction of subtle photographic details and color gradients.

5. Final Product Inspection

During the concluding stage, the appearance of the t-shirt, the quality of the seams, and the neatness of the printed image are assessed. We verify that the finished product matches the original sketch. After any potential flaws are corrected, the t-shirt is prepared for packaging and handover to the client.
