«OBRAZ» is a cross-regional festival for amateur children’s theater groups. The festival’s identity is inspired by the aesthetics of children’s creativity: bright paper cutouts transform into theatrical set designs, and colorful fragments come together to form a cohesive image.
A custom display font, «Bumazhki, ” was developed specifically for the project, graphically referencing letters slightly unevenly cut from paper. The new version of the logo moves away from a literal depiction of a child’s hand, while still retaining the feeling of handcrafted immediacy and the spontaneity of a child’s gesture.

The festival’s visual identity references not only theatrical arts but also the visual creativity of children. Its elements resemble vibrant appliqués and crafts made by a child’s hands. This visual system metaphorically conveys the festival’s core idea: children are capable of independently creating their own unique realities.
«Imagine Your Theater» is the festival’s motto and the central concept of its visual identity. Using paint, paper, and imagination, a child can construct sets, invent character designs, and become the director of their own theater. The power of children’s creativity knows no bounds!
