Abstract: My poster promotes reading by contrasting it with mindless scrolling through social media. This contrast is conveyed through brain imagery: a large, glowing brain for the reader (development) and a small, dim one for the person on the phone (degradation). Light acts as a measure of value: a key technique. For the reader, the brain glows (benefit to oneself); for the «scroller» only the phone lights up (benefit to the platforms). The dark background symbolizes a moment of personal choice, while the overhead view anonymizes the figures, focusing attention on the action and its outcome. The text «same time but different result» guides the viewer to compare, and the Papyrus font (associated with paper, books, and wisdom) subtly hints at the right choice.
