Creating an original scarf based on geolocation research—The Factory and Ensemble of Ludwig Nobel.
Exuviae—derived from the Latin exuviae, meaning «shed skin”—is the discarded casing left by an organism after molting.
The factory, functioning as an industrial organism whose transformation never concluded. Like a caterpillar stalled at a transitional stage, the enterprise failed to assume a new form and succumbed to decay. The image of the decaying shell reflects the decline of production, while the tubular protrusions, reminiscent of industrial infrastructure elements, connect biological metamorphosis with the factory’s industrial heritage.
