Concept
Zimart is a venue for winter performances. The «Behind the Scenes of winter» series utilizes the most important stage element — the curtain — to display festival information. Printing on both sides of the curtains demonstrates the festival’s dual function: providing entertainment for the audience and work for the artists. Thus, this typeface series serves as a dual message to the audience and the performers backstage.

Concept
The «Displacement» posters demonstrate the filling of space with text as the series develops. Similarly, the Zimart festival fills the entire information space as February approaches. The posters can be displayed together or individually.

3 / HAND IN HAND WITH WINTER
Concept
The graphic series «Hand in Hand with Winter» uses layout and font to create the shape of a hand. The posters are displayed behind fogged or frosted glass in a public space. Viewers see the outline of a hand through the cloudy glass and are drawn into an interactive experience. By placing their hand on the glass, they can read the text and learn about the festival.

Concept
The animated Zimart poster series demonstrates the metaphor of artistic illumination. The viewer, looking at winter in a picture frame, is pierced by the rays of a blazing star. The animation demonstrates this mechanism.
