The event for the performance «Don’t Search for Summer in Winter» offers the audience a unique experience—to travel through all the seasons in a single evening, to witness all the months simultaneously, just as the fairy tale’s main character did, and to find light amidst all-consuming darkness.

Goals: — To build a bridge between art and personal experience, immersing every participant in the performance — To create an emotionally and philosophically rich experience that amplifies the performance’s central theme—the search for hope amidst temporal chaos—by immersing the audience in the metaphor of nature’s cyclical patterns and internal transformations

Spring is the first season viewers encounter. It is a time of awakening and renewal—the beginning of everything. To evoke a sense of lightness, semi-transparent tulle fabrics, sheer fishing line, and translucent corrugated paper were used. The modular element, featuring live branches, here takes the form of leaf garlands floating above the audience.

Summer—the third season, the flourishing of nature, a symbol of abundance. This hall fully prepares the audience for the performance, as the external light is completely blocked here. The inspiration for the installation comes from the Ivan Kupala festival, reflected in the wreaths and candles drifting down the trickles.

Autumn is the season that heralds the confrontation with cold. It is a time for warming up and harvesting. Materials that evoke the atmosphere of a cellar or a hut are used here—wooden structures, rope. Dried roots and fruits are suspended here and there from the branches.

Winter is the coldest time of year—white and frosty. During this season, we see icy patterns, frozen water, and falling snowflakes. The winter zone directly abuts the stage area, flowing into it. Here, the modular element and live branches are used for the first time not merely as a crown imitation. At the center of the installation is a chandelier woven from branches and «suckers» adorned with crystal necklaces.
