Two Worlds

Tapestry «Two Worlds» is inspired by the animated film «Distant Lands.» The image features two characters: the main heroine, Molly, and an alien who lands on her head. Their worlds are strikingly different, yet as the plot unfolds, they are forced to work together, which brings them closer by the end of the story.

Through the composition, I wanted to convey two distinct planets and two worldviews converging into a single picture.

The composition features cartoon characters in their natural environment. The landscape adds depth and richness to the image, while the characters become the focal point and appear as if they are interacting with one another.
