Developing a clothing collection based on an examination of the female figure in Italian cinema, straddling the boundary between Neorealism and the economic miracle era. This project focuses on researching femininity as a space of contradictions—between social norms, personal desires, and life circumstances. The woman existing within the context of post-war crisis and subsequent economic boom confronts shifts in public norms, perceptions of morality, sexuality, and the role of women. Her image is shaped at the intersection of tradition and modernity, naturalism and artifice, dependency and the striving for freedom.
