The inspiration for this tapestry came from the old gray columns at the bus stops—the very ones that were plastered with flyers, posters, and advertisements for years.

The paper overlapped, faded, tore, and revealed fragments of previous posters. Thus, color, texture, and composition emerged randomly on the ordinary urban surface.

Gradually, out of scraps of paper, random inscriptions, and leftover color, a distinct abstract composition emerged—a composition created by the city itself.
