MSYAK — an inter-university student yacht club in St. Petersburg. The club unites students from all universities in the city. MSYAK has several small ELF-620 class racing yachts (shrimp) and one larger one—Sirius. In addition, there are regattas, gatherings, film nights, sunset training sessions, and shrimp camps…
The identity is built around flags, which we use not as carriers, but as an integral component. This allows the brand to create «custom» virtual items that are not possible in reality.

MSYAK-Sport. Intro Sequence
The conceptual opening for the regatta is built on the principle of a sailing race start procedure: sounds, flags, and countdowns. The audio is compiled from radio chatter recorded during the regatta, intentionally left slightly unpolished and crackling to maintain the atmosphere.
