Design and Technological Production Training

Goal: To develop the construction and technological documentation required for launching the trousers into production.

Objectives: — Develop a technical sketch with a description of the sample model; — Develop a master sample/prototype; — Develop construction documentation; — Develop technological documentation.

Men’s mid-season trousers for middle and older age groups. Material — medium-weight stuffed denim with a floral pattern; it does not shed and boasts high performance properties (easily removable stains). The trousers have a very loose silhouette. The waistline is high (3 cm); a snug fit in this area is achieved through darts and pleats. The hip line is loose. The expansion from the hip line is straight. There are 5 belt loops on the waistband. Fastening is a non-detachable zipper. There is a trouser hook and a button on the waistband. The front panels feature pockets with a notched side seam; the pocket opening is stitched with decorative stitching 0.2 cm from the edge. Decorative stitching is placed along the side seams 0.3 cm from the edge. The back panels feature flap pockets. The front panels are lined. The length of the garment is to the ankle. The bottom of the item is secured with a turned-up hem. Recommended sizes: waist circumference — 75 cm, hip circumference — 100 cm, height — 175–185 cm.
