Artists also have family and household responsibilities. When the wife of artist Shaburov worked as art director of the Brest Club (at the State Center for Modern Arts), she asked her to make flyers every time she came home. The flyer is a little polygraph paper that informs about a concert or other event. There’s no time to make them. So Shabourov’s painter picked up a rememorable font, a collection of borrowed pictures, and turned the flyers in 15 minutes. In design competitions, Shabourov’s flyers won prizes for spectators or children’s jury (all other design nominations were usually given to themselves).
