A lamp fashioned as an art object that addresses the theme of «social blindness”—the state where a person is physically sighted but ignores obvious moral norms.
The work is built upon a paradox: Braille, a typeface created for the visually impaired, becomes a tool for „enlightenment“ for those who can see. The viewer is confronted with a question written in this font: „Are you still seeing, or have you chosen not to?“

magnetic light bulb
The lamp is an interactive magnetic panel based on the principle of completing an electrical circuit.
Each magnetic element (light bulb) contains a contact group and an LED.
When it touches the panel, the magnet locks in place and completes the electrical circuit.
At the moment the circuit is completed, the LED inside the element illuminates, and the combination of active points forms Braille characters.
