The aim of this project is to develop a basic set of everyday tableware that is simple, convenient, and versatile, yet also vibrant and tactile. I sought to create items that elevate even the simplest and quickest meals into aesthetic experiences, helping to savor food and maintain focus on the present moment.
Porcelain, the most practical and durable ceramic material, was chosen as the primary material, with fine black chamotte granules incorporated to enhance its tactile quality. The tableware is crafted using the throwing technique, which allows for both the reproduction of items and the preservation of the uniqueness and individuality of each piece. The tableware is coated with a durable, clear glossy glaze on the interior and fired at 1280 degrees Celsius, ensuring the strength and waterproofness of the unglazed surface.
