Stones

This project is a look at life in theater from an outsider’s perspective. I wanted to get closer to an environment that was foreign to me and see what another person’s daily life is like, and what exists beyond the stage.

I photographed 3rd-year students from the directing faculty of GITIS, in Kamenykovich’s workshop. They refer to themselves as «stones» in short.

The photographs immerse you in their life both inside and outside the institute: performances, backstage moments, gatherings at the bar, and life in the dormitory.
