An original video project based on personal experience and empirical science. In the video, I explore the influence of yoga on mental health, drawing from an analysis of a Harvard University article, and substantiate the scientific findings with my own practice.
My Role: Screenwriter, Speaker, Producer, Video Editor.
My Tasks and Work Accomplished:
- Research and Scripting (Pre-production): — Independently selected and studied a relevant Harvard University scientific article on the effects of yoga on the psyche. — Analyzed the material: identified key theses regarding the benefits of yoga for mental health. — Wrote the video script, harmoniously linking the scientific facts from the article with my personal experience. Adapted complex academic language into clear and engaging text.
- Shooting Process (Production): — Served as the speaker: recorded the video on camera. — Organized and conducted the video shoot.
- Post-production: — Executed video editing (compiling footage, adding sound, color grading). — Prepared the video for publication on YouTube (writing the description, selecting tags, designing the thumbnail).
Project Results and Value: — Created high-quality educational content that helps viewers view yoga not merely as a physical practice, but as a tool for improving mental health. — Demonstrated the skill of analyzing academic sources and the ability to translate them into lifestyle content. — The project integrates personal branding, a scientific approach, and video production skills.
