In collaboration with the online school Buzzer Academy, we developed and hosted a paid weekly intensive focused on contemporary bass design. The program integrated technical, creative, and conceptual aspects of sound design—ranging from synthesis and processing to musical thinking and applying the material in tracks.
The course included:
- A video lesson on creating complex neural bass sounds in Ableton Live using built-in instruments;
- A practical stream on applying the created sounds;
- A curated collection of references and theoretical content;
- A final session featuring feedback and analysis of participants' work.
The intensive gathered 60 participants and achieved high engagement: students created their own sounds, mastered new approaches to bass and production, and presented finished tracks.
The project strengthened the community surrounding contemporary sound design and demonstrated the effectiveness of short, focused educational launches.
