I prepared an original article on eye contact and its role in daily communication. The core of the material explores how people perceive others' gazes, why direct eye contact can cause awkwardness, and how it influences interpersonal interaction. This topic is explored through psychological observations, respondent opinions, and real-life situations. While working on the article, I was responsible for topic development, shaping the material’s structure, and preparing the text. It was important to me not only to address the issue but also to present it from various perspectives so that the reader could recognize themselves and others in the described situations. The article is now complete and is planned for publication in the journal «Oko.» This project offered me the opportunity to experiment with original journalism, work on a timely social theme, and create material that merges observation, psychological insight, and authentic human perspectives.
