PROJECT IDEA
Portraits are created as symbols of respect and recognition for influential figures in my artistic journey. This object was born from an encounter and connection with a musician, primarily in the ambient genre [name hidden].
The logic of this object is based on the individual’s characteristics and what gift they receive.
Does he want to look at his portrait? Does he want to look at an object embodying music? Does he want the option to have these simultaneously?
These questions led me to the final design, which allows for hiding what should be concealed and revealing the portrait.

/Relief etched onto a sheet of metal mimics the form of nine music album covers on a digital sound platform.
/The reel mechanism adds the object a keepsake-box function, which can be opened at will.
