«Through the Collector’s Eyes» is an annual special project of the non-profit Cosmoscow fair, dedicated to private collections. For the collector, the opportunity to construct narrative threads within a collection—many of which may only come to light under specific circumstances—holds particular value. The stand’s composition is built around this idea, featuring a main corridor with a video installation cube at its center.

The concept for the pavilion’s architectural design is built around the collaboration between BMW and Emirati designer Omar Al Ghurgo. Drawing inspiration from his modular furniture, which consists of simple geometric elements, the pavilion transforms a single module into a continuous space with fluid transitions between the vehicle display area, the lounge, and the discussion forum. The architecture reflects BMW’s core values—functionality, flexibility, and the constant pursuit of new forms of interaction among people, technology, and culture.

«Primula Metamorphoses» is a spatial journey through time: from the botanical marvel of the Enlightenment era to the symbol of a digital future. The exhibition’s architecture is built upon a progression of visual and semantic density, where each section represents a layer in the flower’s and the city’s evolution. The smooth, undulating line of the exhibition wall references the organic form of the petals and the relief of the natural landscape while simultaneously recalling the silhouette of the Lakhta Center. The background pattern—a floral print featuring graphics by Galia Fadeeva—creates the sensation of being «inside a flower, ” enveloping the viewer in a botanical ornamentation.
EXHIBITION: HAPPY LIFE IN A SQUARE FOOT
2025
Vykha, Russia
Museum of the History of the VMZCurator: Mark AkopyanProject by Novoye Bureau
Role in the Project: Concept development, design, visualization
«A Happy Life in a Square» is an exploration of one of the most monumental utopias of the 20th century: the attempt to forge a new society through architecture and ensure accessible housing for everyone. The title refers both to the standard square panel, which embodies the aesthetic of rationalization, and to Malevich’s Suprematism—a symbol of the radical reprogramming of life through art.

The exhibition explores how the Soviet program for industrial housing construction, which began in Vyksa in 1958 with the first panel house, became a response to the post-war housing crisis and a component of global modernism. The innovative series 1–464, launched into mass production, allowed houses—and apartments within them—to be assembled like an assembly line, providing homes for millions of families. This was not merely a technological breakthrough; it was an act of faith in progress and the capacity of architecture to transform people’s daily lives and consciousness.
