Caracal—a predatory mammal of the cat family, also known as the «steppe lynx.»
Caracals hunt with swift, lightning-fast leaps up to three meters high to take down birds in flight, and their incredibly developed musculature and powerful hind legs allow them to silently stalk prey and make jumps up to 4.5 meters, instantly catching their target.

In this frozen posture, one senses extreme concentration: every muscle in its tensed body has transformed into a taut string, and its powerful rear legs, coiled like a spring, are ready to launch the body into a deadly pounce at any moment.
But it seems dinner fled from him this time.
