Alexei Lavrujin: portfolio and website

I live and work in Moscow. He graduated from the children ' s choir studio in 2021, where learning had a significant impact on my perception of sound and music, as well as awe of sound as an independent psychic. I am now studying at the sound art and sound design baccalaureate at the ICU. My multi-channel sound setup sounded at the OKNO Sound Art Gallery Club, and I spoke at the Illusion, and I also participated in the development of an opera performance for HPP-2.

Sound is the main medium I work for. At the same time, I interact with media such as performance, video art, light, and various kinds of graphics. In my practice, I study the search for identity, separation, sincerity, balance between the internal and external world through interdisciplinary practices. The most important thing for me in my works is to convey the depth of a certain emotion or state, because each one of them has a personal history behind it. So I put a lot of emphasis on working with sound psychology in my projects. The composers Arvo Piart, Vello Tormis, Yuri Falik and Pavel Chesnokov, as well as the pop music that has surrounded me since my early childhood, have had a particular impact on my approach to sound management.
