Idea
The Kids Hospice is a place where joy, care, and warmth are the main focus every day, so the merchandise is based on real children’s drawings. The kids become co-creators of the project, and every item carries their story. By purchasing a T-shirt or a shopper bag, someone takes home a drawing from a specific child—their unique perspective on the world.
Drawings are created during creative sessions with the hospice residents. Each child is given a simple theme: to draw what joy, home, and warmth mean to them. There are no requirements for artistic skill—what matters is what the child wants to express.
Modular Grid
The visual system is built on a 3×3 grid: nine green squares, each containing a children’s drawing outlined in white. Beneath the grid is the hospice’s name. This strict grid unifies various drawings into a cohesive composition.
The primary color is green. This color signifies life, growth, and tranquility—it evokes a sense of hope and care, resonating with the hospice’s brand color.
The illustrations provided are representative of potential children’s artwork. Illustrations by Orfeo Tagiuri.
