The project deals with the preservation of the heritage of small nationalities and aims at improving the quality of leisure activities for children and adults in the Republic of Karelia. The author ' s main purpose was to give the empty house of the Karel Youth Society a second life, following the original design of its creators, but adapting it to the needs of a modern human being.
Planning decision
Functional zoning is aimed at creating a unique and modern space that will become a centre of attraction for the inhabitants of the Prizorsk region, especially for children and adolescents.
The planning decision provides for all the necessary facilities for interesting leisure activities. These include a large concert hall for public events, a play and workshop, a room for soft sports practices and two kitchens. One is in a dining room format and is safe for children. The second is a full-scale cooking area and small cooking workshops.
Texture boards
The materials used in the project include a natural and painted pine array, a carel birch spoon, a horn and a furniture upholstery, a curtain linen, and brass and stone elements for wet areas.
The project’s palitaire must be natural and must convey the beauty of the Karelian nature, but must also summon associations with magical fairy tales. A cranberry-red, deep grey-blue and dusty-flavored shade were selected as focus flowers.

The areas of the game and workshop are separated by a partition referring to a typical northern architecture window-opening used, including in the construction of the young people ' s home in question. The game zone has a modular couch that resembles boulders, and the desk supports in the workshop are made of whole pine logs.

The washers were taken to the small hall area so that children could use them not only before eating, but also after creative activities or street games.

The hall next to the kitchen is in the same style as the dining room hall. The rockets are also put into common space, making them more suitable for use during cooking and sports activities.
