At the core of the narrative is the familiar sensation of unfulfilled desire. The characters strive to capture an event or a striking location—something that should transform their experience—but each time, they find themselves in a state of waiting and internal detachment. They observe the world but are incapable of connecting with it. The film crew evolves into a community of people existing between reality and reflection.
The project’s visual intrigue is built on the psychedelic connection between the human being and the surrounding space. The characters constantly create mistaken relationships with each other and their environment. They interpret events through their own expectations.
The heroes are impostors who have taken the place of real reporters and stringers.
They are constantly near the event, but never actually within it. The space, however, becomes a metaphor for an unfulfilled desire.
