Series of glass bouquets «Cycle. Field»

The collection of Murano and Bohemian glass was created especially for the exhibition «Degrees of Transparency» in the Heritage Gallery. The series consists of five bouquets that closely replicate live flowers, shade transitions, the dynamics of the arrangement of stamens at the moment of blossoming buds and falling petals. To create the necessary color combinations, the author mixed dozens of glasses from different countries, achieving those very lively and understandable shades. «The series of glass bouquets was created in the wake of the purchase of a house with an old garden. For a whole year, I did not touch the plants in the land that was new to me and watched as wild „uncultivated“ flowers sprouted between the classic cultural flowerbeds. Clover, chicory, bells, thistles… Documenting the different periods of a flower’s life was an amazing and inspiring experience. I was fascinated by the rhythm of withering, the moment of transition from violent flowering to the formation of seeds. „The best allegory of the continuity and beauty of life in any period, ” says Anastasia Pribelskaya about the idea of creating glass bouquets „Cycle. Field.“
