«Cinderella» is a fairy tale where mice turn into horses, lizards into footmen, and a single lost slipper causes a stir throughout the kingdom. I interpret the tale this way: I lend it a light, playful tone while retaining the canonical elements. Cinderella gains animal friends, and the Fairy Godmother’s magic is slightly whimsical. Yet, the main character remains a kind and hardworking girl whom the audience can empathize with.

While Cinderella remains unaware of the magic that is to come in her destiny: she is coming to terms with her stepmother’s character and her newly acquired stepsisters. In the scenes, I include small animals—lizards, mice, and birds—which help the heroine cope with loneliness.
The Fairy Godmother’s magic creates the incredible: lizards and mice transform into people and horses! And Cinderella is now ready to conquer the ball. I make her sorcery slightly absurd: well, the horses remain half-mice, and the footmen are half-lizards.
But here’s the catch: Cinderella danced at the ball until midnight, and the magic vanished! Do I really have to face fate again? No way! To create dynamics, I use comic book techniques: I add frames to enhance movement and build momentum. And the bubbles with icons help convey the characters' thoughts.
Merchandise
As an addition to the book, I designed cardboard crowns and fans. They are included in the book as a gift, allowing kids to play and imagine that they are truly at Cinderella’s ball!
Paper Crowns
Each book comes with four fans and crowns so you can easily share them with friends.
