Context
From childhood, the idea that strength isn’t something you receive, but something you build yourself, resonated with me. I didn’t feel «gifted,» but I believed that this could be compensated for through the things you make and use.
Conception
I wanted to create jewelry that functions as simple amplification tools. The core inspiration is the shape of a slingshot—a children’s toy that increases force through tension. Silicone cords in the jewelry mimic rubber bands and create this state of tension.
