Marc and Bella: Two Perspectives on One Sky

This project is a book dedicated to the history of Marc Chagall and Bella Rosenfeld. It is an attempt to tell this famous love story not only through the artist’s eyes but also through Bella’s own. By combining Marc Chagall’s autobiographical book, My Life, Bella Rosenfeld’s book, Burning Lights, and the artist’s works, the project explores their union as the story of two independent individuals who influenced each other, and returns Bella her own place in this narrative.
