General Concept
The project consists of a complex of three identical panoramic restaurants situated on the gentle slope of Mount Paaso in Karelia. The architectural concept is based on combining modern, transparent architecture with the natural landscape, allowing the buildings to become part of the environment—not competing with it, but revealing its primary value: panoramic views of the Karelian forests, cliffs, and lake landscape.
The complex is based on two-story domed structures with predominantly transparent facades. The glass envelope allows visitors to feel a maximum connection with nature year-round: in summer, the restaurants become part of the surrounding landscape; in autumn, they offer views of the colorful forest; in winter, they transform into warm, glowing objects amidst the snow; and in spring, they highlight the awakening of Karelian nature.

The complex is situated on Paaso Hill.
Three restaurants are located on a gentle slope of the hill, which allows for minimal interference with the existing topography. The buildings are positioned to preserve the most valuable natural areas, existing trees, and rock formations.
The pathways follow the natural topography of the site and do not impose rigid urban geometry. This allows the architecture to look like an integrated part of the natural landscape. Each dome is oriented toward the most expressive panoramic views, and the building placement ensures that views do not obstruct one another.
