Concealed door with a shadow gap TENEVOY

We are the first developers and manufacturers of a serial product — the shadow profile and its technologies. This solution was widely used by architects and designers in Russia and in the world, as it created a beautiful shadow effect, but most importantly, it excluded the formation of cracks at the junction of construction volumes (wall, floor, ceiling), and also improved the quality of construction work. This product was more naturally combined with flush-mounted doors. Unfortunately, all existing flush-mounted doors did not have an ideal abutment with the shadow profile installed between the wall and the floor. There was a problem of pairing the shadow profile with the flush-mounted door. What was it?

The concealed door has a frame that mounts into the wall. It had insufficient depth for a shadow profile, which also drowns in the wall. The shadow profile exposed the embedded part of the frame. To hide it, it was necessary to cut the frame or shadow profile, but this removed the doors from the guarantee, and in frequent cases it could not be done, since the visible part of the frame was cut off. Also, the height of the shadow gap is 15 and 20 mm (if you make the height less, then the gap becomes narrow and more unsafe, first of all for children and cleaning is much more difficult), at the bottom of the door the gap is 5-10 mm. The result was a difference in height between the door and the wall. This did not suit us and our responsibility was to make a complete, factory technical solution.

We developed a concealed door with a shadow gap. There is no such solution in the world. We did not just lift the door leaf, we made a shadow gap of the required height in the door, and the gap between the floor and the bottom of the door was 5 mm. This technique increased the sound insulation, and the light and draft through the bottom of the door does not penetrate us. And there is an additional opportunity to install LED backlighting at the bottom of the door, given that it is also possible to install the same backlighting in the shadow gap on the wall. We received a holistic (in the place of the doors, the backlight is not interrupted), complete technical solution. We received a patent for a utility model (No. 221840) and now we are producing these doors.
