Frescoes of the Verapontist Monastery

The Verapont Monastery is a men’s monastery in the Vologod region, on the UNESCO World Heritage List, as an almost entirely preserved architectural monument to the artist Dionisia. Inside all the walls of the monastery are covered with the frescoes of the 14th century, which feature many Bible stories.
