In the 1990s, there was «Studio Yu7» in Yekaterinburg. The studio made money through dubbing TV series and placing video advertisements, and it also invited local artists to shoot videos.

Artist Shaburov worked on several projects for them.

In «Guess the Tune 2, ” just like in the program of the same name, he made viewers guess popular melodies, but he sang them himself a cappella.

And in „Karaoke in Russian, ” he silently recited works of Russian classics and invited the audience to join in using a scrolling marquee.

The funniest part was that during the economic default in August 1998, running advertisements on TV channels became unprofitable, but Studio Yu7 had pre-purchased advertising slots, and they aired Shaburov’s singing across all Yekaterinburg channels. The audience was amazed.
