Each of us sat on this chair.

The white Monobloc plastic chair is one of the most widespread objects in industrial design globally. Yet, it has no single recognized author. Its form has been copied and reproduced by hundreds of manufacturers worldwide for decades, transforming the chair into an anonymous object of popular culture. More than a billion Monobloc chairs have been produced worldwide since the 1960s.

I was drawn to the contrast.
On one hand—Monoblock, a symbol of mass production, reproduction, everyday life, globalization, and cheapness. It is one of the most widespread objects in human design history.
On the other—jewelry design, which is usually associated with uniqueness, individualism, attention to detail, and object value.
