Space — a diagram of all possible transitions or efforts. The projection of our muscular experience onto the world helps us achieve any part of space: the flow of forms, curvature and distortion, the delineation of the «other» and «others, ” separated from the „Self.“ Space responds with rhythmic contractions—it unfolds as the curvature of individuality in relation to the world. Deaf „blind spots“ reveal the localizations of tense spatial nodes—objects of the „other“ toward which our rhythm strikes.

Through peripherally distributed rhythms and the sounds of the location, I aim to develop the thesis of a space governed by our volatile perception. Sound is intended to embody the relationship between «Self» and space, revealing points of resonance and creating a stage of active perception for the viewer-listener.

Rhythm — the foundation of space. Separation or fusion, resonance or dissonance, are defined by our relationship to the surrounding topography. Rhythmic intervals are «with, ” „co-, ” „between, ” „for, ” „all”—the ability to expand one’s sense of self into a collective entanglement that lacks a center.

The video work explores the concept of rhythm within the context of dynamic and passive spaces, and the presence of a destabilized subject or group within them. Movements directed from the core to the periphery or from the external to the internal, sounds flowing around the void like echolocation, shape a collective space—volatile and vibrational—that is open to dialogue and avoids self-containment.
