A collaboration between the «Valentlove» typeface and the handmade knitted goods brand «babushka.Ladushka»

Valentlove — a handwritten font adorned with hearts. Its slight imperfection lends it a warm, human quality. The hearts function as overlaid elements, yet they do not compromise legibility—rather, they infuse the word with character, turning every word into a miniature illustration.
Babushka.Ladushka—a family brand of handmade knitted goods, founded by me and my mother in August 2023.
The idea is to create an interior object designed for the whole family—one that reflects family values and evokes a feeling of warmth, closeness, and care.
creation process and materials
The solution is a letter-shaped photo frame crafted from a metal frame wrapped with yarn using a crochet hook. The object can exist as a standalone unit—a single letter—or be assembled into a word, such as a family member’s initials.
As complementary products, alphabet-shaped keychains were developed using the same technique and stylistic approach. They continue the idea of personalization, allowing the object to transition from an interior format to an everyday one—a personal, wearable symbol.
