Urban Nest

This project is inspired by the location in Saint Petersburg—the Tatiana Nikolaevna Putilova residential building. The history of the building is not just its walls and floors. It is its memory, hidden within the various floors and apartments. The constantly changing owners, short leases, and closing shops shape the building’s atmosphere and aura. Every person who comes here brings their own story and connects it to the stories of others, creating a common fabric within the space. The fates of these incoming people transform the building into a living nest of layered narratives. «Urban Nest» is a project about how a building becomes a shared place where memory intertwines, forming a spatial tapestry of events and lives.
