What if a chair is a table in fact? Or a shelf? Or all the three?
First of all this object is a chair. But it could be a coffee table if you put it on one side. Or a shelf if you have a couple of them.
The collection is supposed to consist of two mirrored chairs. This makes it possible to use them in different combinations depending on the function required. Such combination also gives the opportunity to play a sort of game where the item isn’t what it seems to be.
This item was initially selected to become the concept one at the Open Call SAMPLE DESIGN FAIR. Currently the chair was produced as a prototype model and by the Fair in September 2024 two more copies will be produced.
