This illustration series is inspired by Russian fairy tales, architecture, and the atmosphere of Russian cities. In each piece, real locations intertwine with imagery reminiscent of children’s book illustrations.
The silhouette of a dome unites all the illustrations into a single series, while the vibrant decorative palette and expressive forms transform familiar cityscapes into something magical yet recognizable.
The project invites viewers to see cities as a space where history, architecture, and fairy tales coexist, infusing everyday life with a sense of wonder.
