Collection of prints «Russian North». Churina Yana Alekseevna The patterns for tissue, wallpapers, ceramics, glass, wood. Printed on 6 textile canvases for interior design of a house, apartment, hotel, restaurant decor. Decorative prints, designed by hand and processed in a computer program, printed using digital technologies, by sublimation on gabardine, twill, cotton satin. Fabric weight from 0.5 kg to 1 kg, height of each tissue is 3 m., width — 1.50 m. Year of creation: 2024 Price for 1 tissue: 2500 rubles. This project is inspired by Russian traditional art, the cultural heritage of nation. The main mission of the project is to attract interest in historically established traditional northern crafts and unique crafts, their preservation and dissemination. The task is to identify new trends and promote them. The drawings convey images of birds, horses, symbols that preserve the idea of folk art, graphic prints and popular prints. The collection is my final work of the master’s degree at Moscow Institute. Printing on fabric was done in a professional studio, in the future it is possible to produce this collection on an industrial scale.
«Fild», 32×32cm
The pattern «Field» can be used on textiles, wallpaper, ceramics, plastic by using the sublimation method. In combination with natural materials such as wood and leather, it creates a cozy atmosphere in interior design. The drawing is made by hand, using the technique of diotypy, pastel, and processed in a computer program.
«Berry», 32×32 cm
The seamless pattern «Berry» uses Russian symbols of the North: Fild and Alatyr. Decorative horses are also a traditional folk image, they emphasize the interior decor with their texture and graphics. The pattern is inspired by the folk craft of printed cloth.
«Vologda Lace», 32×32 cm
This print used laces, in the technique of imprinting, the drawing was applied with ink. The name «Vologda Lace» came from the created image of the forest and running horses, as well as the patterned skillful lace of Vologda craftswomen. The graphic nature of the images emphasizes the traditions of decorative and applied art. The winter palette was chosen especially for the snowy landscapes of the north enchant with their infinity and harmony.
«Wood architecture», 32×32 cm
The «Wood architecture» print is a wonderful addition to the decor of Russian interiors, the selected colors will emphasize and highlight the necessary details of the intended design of the bedroom, study, hall. Curtain fabric, wallpaper — the basis for the developed pattern.
«Garden», 32×32 cm
The print «Garden» used images of Vologda peahens, swans, spied on lace in grandma’s village. The lightness and patterned lines of the pattern will also decorate home textiles: tablecloths, napkins, bed linen, curtains and wallpaper in the children’s room.
