Anton Surodin is a set and costume designer with over 20 years of experience. His projects consistently rank among the top in all of Russia. He and his team realize any design concept. In the restaurant «Siberian Lights, ” where the cultural codes of the Nizhny Novgorod region and Siberia intertwine, Anton decorated the space with colorful associations and original techniques.

Each hall carries its own artistic and historical message, and along with the project’s authors, the design bureau PAUM and the decorators conveyed these meanings through texture and color. In one of the halls, the focus was on tactility. The plasterwork here was intentionally left slightly imperfect—it evokes a greater sense of comfort than pristine work. The composition was completed with a deep blue tone on the walls.

One of the features is the finishing in vintage tulle. The lace was sourced from all over the country, and one element was hand-knitted specifically for the project. The aged walls are assembled from a multilayered «cake» of materials—the goal was to make the appearance as natural as possible, without appearing forced.
The team also focused on accent interior details: an administrator’s desk shaped like a metal mushroom, carved elements mimicking wood grain, decor treated to resemble concrete, and a service counter stylized like rough-hewn stone.
