«Kolomna Fest”—a multi-format festival dedicated to one of the city’s central districts. Three poster series were created for the festival and the subsequent exhibition in the cultural space:
— Cartographic Design by A. Ilyina — Metamorphoses of Kolomna’s Appearance — Secluded
01. Cartographic Institution A. Ilyina
«A. Ilyin’s Cartographic Establishment”—the first specialized cartography enterprise in Russia. It was founded in 1859 by A. A. Ilyin and V. Poltoratsky as a lithography workshop for publishing historical educational maps along the Ekaterininsky Canal (now Griboyedov Canal) near the Voznesensky Bridge.

The poster series explores the institution’s history and modernizes its printed archives through deconstruction, transforming artifacts into new, aesthetically refined souvenirs.

02. Metamorphoses of the Kolomna Profile
A series of 25 infographic posters documents the transformation of the appearance and perception of the Kolomna district through a cartographic chronology—featuring maps of St. Petersburg created in the 19th–20th centuries by both Russian and European masters.
03. Solitary
Vasily Vasilievich Rozanov was one of Russia’s most influential religious philosophers, a critic, and a publicist who left behind a vast literary legacy, including philosophical and research texts and diaries that documented the life of a city in the early 20th century.
Posters dedicated to Vasily Rozanov are composed of spreads featuring excerpts from the philosopher’s texts alongside contemporary photographs of Kolomna, all laid out in a small booklet format. The cut-up poster can be assembled into a sketchbook consisting of 18 pages.
