Design of a barrier for a cable car across the Oka River in Nizhny Novgorod.
Construction—while often not the most pleasant sight for residents, even if it contributes to future comfort—is what this illustration aims to soften. It is intended to remind people that the construction work is temporary and that the cable car will become a convenient and indispensable mode of transportation for years to come.

Construction fence
On the construction hoarding, the Oka River is depicted, with Nizhny Novgorod spread out around it. The cable car stations harmonize with the other buildings, easily fitting into the urban landscape.
The majority of the illustration is executed in a line art style so as not to look out of place in the surrounding space. Color accents draw attention to key elements: the cable car as a symbol of urban development; the birds and plants that remain untouched by construction; and the homes where the people who benefit from the cable car reside.

The image is seamless, which allows for the creation of construction fencing of any length.
Posters
Posters for the cable car opening were created as an addition to the perimeter fencing.
