1. THE OBSERVER
The works in this section are united by a shared interest: a focus on the individual, the environment, and the stories that emerge between them.
«Green Cells» is an absurd «wimmelbild» (busy picture book) born from observations of people in the artist’s hometown and during their travels. Eighty-seven scenes from real life were collected to form the foundation of this work. It serves both as a look at a rapidly urbanizing world and as a way to convey the sense of absurdity that arises when gazing into a crowd.

Drawing inspiration from Kafka’s work of the same name, the The Metamorphosis zine places the theme of transformation within a contemporary context: the protagonist undergoes a visual shift across a series of collaged spreads. The composition leads to a gray spread featuring two portraits, symbolizing a choice regarding the direction of this transformation. A key focal point is highlighted by mirrored paper—an invitation for the viewer to see themselves and reflect on their own personal changes. The final image, showing the character in a colorful jacket at a computer, leaves the question open: how does one capture the slow metamorphosis of the self as it unfolds over time?
2. THE STORYTELLER
This section focuses on text as a medium. It presents translations of texts into a visual language, as well as studies of myths, novels, poetry, and film adaptations.
This series of illustrations, inspired by the screen adaptation of Wodehouse’s Jeeves and Wooster stories, is characterized by heightened color saturation and a comedic style, while maintaining a sense of continuity through the images' modular structure.
«Cape Verde Grasshopper Once Thought Extinct Rediscovered After 40 Years» — the title of an article in N+1 magazine. Two illustrative panels were created for it, recounting the story in five sequential frames. The work is presented in a web-based format.
This series of works, inspired by Sheila Heti’s book «Pure Colour», presents a metaphorical typology of people divided into three archetypes: birds, who value beauty and a detached perspective; fish, oriented toward the collective and justice; and bears, devoted to a close circle of loved ones—a classification that leads to inevitable mutual misunderstanding among these groups. To convey concepts of typicality, mass scale, and structural order, the artist employs a stamped motif that has been digitized into a vector image.
3. PERSONAL
A visual collection of 14 works exploring personal engagement. Emotion holds the viewer’s attention and transforms the image into a story one wants to linger over.
