«Tectonic» Concept
The object is situated among the volcanic rocks of Kamchatka. Its geometric forms evoke the faults in the Earth’s crust and the shifting of tectonic plates.
The project’s concept is to integrate an artificial structure into the natural environment so that it is perceived as an organic part of the landscape. The strict geometry contrasts with the irregular shapes of the solidified lava, yet simultaneously resonates with them.
