The Box is an application that connects artisans with people having old items.
In the post-Soviet space, the problem of accumulating clutter in apartments, dachas, and garages is pressing. However, sometimes this very clutter is needed by creators—for free or at a minimal cost, not on a wholesale scale.

The application is based on an expedition and research of visual patterns in village courtyards and the discovery of the problem of clutter and emergent upcycled creativity.

The application simultaneously addresses several issues: environmental (reusing old items), social (it is psychologically easier to give things away than to throw them out), and cultural (promoting a creative community).

Material Purchase Process
The application features two scenarios for creating a material card: duplicating or creating from scratch. There is an internal division with filters specifically applicable to creative materials.
The app also features a knowledge base: masterclasses, articles, and events. This fosters a community of creative individuals working in upcycling.
If items remain unpurchased for more than six months, the app will send a notification suggesting they be recycled.
