Boutique Hotel «Pelageia»A historic building with an interesting restoration history. The design for this building, originally conceived as a manor outbuilding, was developed in the spring of 1843 by the Nizhny Novgorod city architect Georg Ivanovich Kizevetter (1808–1857), as evidenced by his signature on the drawing. The architecture of that era was built upon the principles of transitioning from late classicism to academic eclecticism. The project’s patrons were the heirs of Pelageia Petrova, an «elderly priest’s wife.»We used the image of Pelageia in the depiction of the lobby.
We envisioned the hotel itself as 13 apartments suitable for extended stays. Every single one turned out to be unique and unconventional, each with its own distinctive flair and stylistic character. There are also buffer zones available for shared relaxation, meeting friends, and welcoming guests.
