The installation was created using a device that allows one to listen to the music of plants. The compositions are generated in real time based on electrical impulses within the leaves. Every seven days during the exhibition, a vine branch is cut, and two sensors are attached to it to read the impulses that change as the plant withers. This results in a music of the plant’s gradual demise. Through this installation, I contemplate humanity’s destructive impact on nature, while also conveying my personal reflection on a quote from the New Testament: «I am the vine; you are the branches.» In this context, the music is both fruit and Spirit, and the severed branch ceases to possess the Divine impulses that give rise to the melody of Life.
