Spanish polychrome sculpture

The second module focused on creating a replica of the traditional Spanish national costume. My inspiration came from Natalia Goncharova’s painting, «Spanish Women.» Goncharova’s series of works on Spain, particularly her depiction of the mantilla—the traditional lace headwear—led me to the polychrome sculpture of 17th-century Spain.
